Demystifying SSAS Time Dimension Attribute Types

While attempting to build my own Date/Time dimension in SSAS I was confused by the date/time attributes that Microsoft supplies. The SSAS help discusses each attribute in alphabetical order, but no attempt is made to organize them in a useful way. This spreadsheet (via Google Docs) is my attempt at organizing the SSAS date/time attributes: http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=pIsKma8AZfzY_KETerdpcAA. I hope you find it useful.

Mark, thank you for supplying this simple yet very effective description of how to uniquely qualify each attribute within a hierarchy.
While trying to figure out exactly what I needed to, this post helped me quickly to find the answer.
